Projects
We structure fuel and nuclear-energy programs through clear stages—from feasibility and site selection to licensing, pilots, and commercial rollout.
Program stages
Our work aligns stakeholders, technical deliverables, and regulatory interfaces with stage-gated decision making.
Use case definition, technical-commercial assessment, and early partner mapping.
Site screening, infrastructure interfaces, permitting considerations, and host engagement.
Regulatory workplan, evidence packaging, and compliance execution alongside counsel.
Stage-gated rollout planning, commissioning logic, and scale-up pathways.
Project rollout architecture
KNE’s project rollout strategy is organised around three geographic and functional roles:
The United States is KNE’s first commercial focus for customer engagement, qualification planning, site development, regulatory interface, offtake structuring, and commercial production pathway development.
South Africa — R&D, selected equipment manufacture, and design support.
Europe — expansion as demand scales
Europe remains a future expansion market. KNE will evaluate European capacity as demand, customer commitments, and regulatory pathways mature.
We engage customers across early conversations, active engagement, and advanced discussions—moving from feasibility to structured offtake and execution planning under NDA where required.
Fuel program delivery
Fuel programs are qualification-led. We emphasize QA/QC maturity, traceability, defect management, and evidence packages suitable for independent review.
Engineering & assembly
Process tooling definition and commissioning support.
Quality systems
Records, change control, nonconformance and audit readiness.
Testing interface
Testing plans and evidence packaging for qualification.
Logistics
Secure documentation and chain-of-custody planning.
Engage
If you are pursuing an HTGR program or need TRISO fuel capability, we can map your stage, define deliverables, and propose a clear workplan.
